Can’t produce wooden planks

Is it just me or do you stop producing wooden planks? I’m having trouble making some even though I have a logging camp next to the forest. I also have plenty of storage space so I don’t know what’s wrong.

Did you place a sawmill with a family working? Or is your hitching post still down after moving it maybe?

Do you have a forester? I forgot about that on my first play through and my cows had to go really far just to get a log to my logging camp and plank cutter.

Same here. There is a lumber camp with full of logs nearby and the saw pit stopped working. There are available ox too.

I got the same problem and for me I figured it out. i build the bow builder artisans, and they are eating all my planks. Just sell their bows and buy more planks, unless this not your problem then idk.

Keep in mind that you need Free Workers to move Building Wood around and an Ox.
If you dont have spare ones of each your building wood will rest where it was cut and all the other production chain that comes after it will stand still.

Its most likely your Ox is occupied or you assigned it to another building.

Trying pausing production of warbows and the like in your houses, they grab all available planks before anyone else.

Assign a family and an ox to it.
