Production limit
Hey gang. Sorry if it's been asked before (I did look), but is there some way to put in any production limits? I built a cobbler so people would have shoes, and now I have a ton of shoes but no leather, because they burned thru it.

Any solution to this? Thanks in advance, great game.

I believe the only way you can handle this atm is by pausing the building (burgage plot) that has the cobbler, until such a time you need/want to produce more shoes.

I'd actually suggest just producing more goats for the hide, and sell the surplus shoes on the market.

I have one lvl3 cobbler (2 families actually) and they flood regional market with shoes so now every one in Europe wears my famous cheap shoes and no one wants to buy more. And it's only one workshop with two families.

I just want the ability to put a halt to production. Only way I can see to do that is to destroy the building, which is rather extreme.

A single coin is still a coin.

Let the silver flow!

I buy 10 sheep rather then going for goats.
Goats are so slow, sheep are fast and produce 90x more yarn then you need to replace the leather.

Boots/yarn is like, optimal on 90% of provinces without some very specific weird circumstances. (Berries/soil rich for example,) in my experience.

They say "Extremely low prices, no foreign exports". Does it actually incorrect and in fact they sell those fancy boots?

You can pause production as someone said above. But no way to set production limits right now.

When you oversell on the market and you see that the price dropped to 1 or so (2 red arrows down), just stop exporting. The prices will come back to normal after a couple of year.

yeah it took me a while to realize. When I see the pause button, I keep seeing it as the "pause construction" button.
