Granaries can be fully staffed and hardly ever pull veggies out of houses, or when they do its a slow process for some reason.
The Granary can be upgraded.
Ensure the Granary is staffed, the families will build stalls at the market place's.
- works for me to only build small markets. (3 stalls to start, add another small area next to it later to handle the new materials.) Have them located in key area's to supply all needs for all homes
- If needed you can build a 2nd Granary.
---build a granary near the actual houses
---restrict what that granary can hold to only things houses can produce (veggies, eggs, apples, or the non-food stuff if you wish etc)
---go into the Advanced tab of the granary and define a circle range area over housing areas
I've also tried selecting an area of the houses in questions in the advanced tab, and it seems to make no difference.
The game is just bugged. We knew what we were signing up for by buying Early Access. Looks like we'll have to give the game some more time before it's playable at that level.
Same problem, my Granary was basicly next to the "House of Carrots"
Only when pop-up comes, than will the worker go to it and take 1 Item out of it, while other 70 are remaining..
Sure it will get fixed up in the near future, with how many people are having problems with it.
Until then? Do what I do to have no problem. Dedicated granaries. Not stupid-big backyards.
Seems to work, get a few pantry full messages, but they clear up rather quick as the granary workers get their stuff sorted.
yes i get it Anno 1800 is a really good economy game and you have to manage so many numbers to be effective but the idea behind Manor Lords seems like the woodcutter actually have to go into the wood, chop the tree, remove the branches from the tree and walk him back to the logging camp. all in real time slow and steady.
this is what it feels like to me. the whole idea behind it was to make it feel realistic and be visually stunning but we gamers try to make our citys 412% effective so most of the stuff the game trys to be did not work anymore.
Nah, if they keep the game in the oven for a while, I think they'll be able to work most of it out. The classic Sierra city builders (Pharoah, Ceasar, ...) managed to get everything to work fine enough with individual pops moving stuff about, and that was in the friggen' 90s, twenty five years ago. This game's system is already prepped do something similar by having a graphical day and pop rest/pray/whatever cycle essentially lasting a whole month to factor in a pop's overhead tasks without eating too deeply into their real work they're doing. With a bit of cleverness and maybe a rare bit of fudging this game can end up working.
Fingers crossed the Early Access funding is put to good use!
