Manor Lords

Manor Lords

Statistiche:
Why do retinue fighters always start with such high fatigue?
Militia start without fatigue loss. Retinue start with most of their fatigue depleted and at a huge penalty.

Why?

They sprint in full armor to the rally point. Right after raising them turn the sprint off.

I know sprinting, uphill, etc reduces fatigue. What I mean is, the moment you click them to be rallied, their fatigue bar is almost entirely depleted. Like instantly, before they even do anything. And it takes a very long time of doing absolutely nothing to replenish.
I have no such issue. My retina starts fully rested.
It happens from time to time that they loose fatigue even when standing still. I suspect it is because one of the group got stuck in a stationary running animation (if that makes sense). Some times they come out of the Manor with just a third of their max fatigue.

Solution, unless you want to add or customize let the stand outside forever, the only downside to that is that bandit camp spawn seems to decrease when you have your retinue out but that could be just a coinkidink.
It was gamespeed, at high gamespeed even that second or two between recruiting them and changing their speed was enough to consume their stamina. Despite that, I still feel they deplete it too quickly.. Although I have seen their stamina bar be like 80% full then I clicked on them (while they were standing still) and suddenly it went down to like 30%. I am not sure if it's actually going down, or just not updating until they are clicked. But at least I discovered what was going on most of the time.

Ah the gamespeed, good find!
Hmm. Game speed does not explain this on my end. My retinue is summoned with low effectiveness immediately (less than 5%) before they've even started moving, regardless of game speed.
I tested this right now.
Paused the game. Selected my Retinue. Hit "Rally" right outside the manor house.

Retinue has -67% Fatigue.

Then I did the same for my Militia... And strangely they had the same! (unlike previous testing).

So I <unpaused> and disbanded. And tried again, and they were both at 0 fatigue.

I suspect it might be something being held over from the last time they were rallied.
I'm having the same issue. They've been in battles several times, then disbanded. It seems they are not recovering fatigue when disbanded, so when a new battle starts (months apart) they're still fatigued, presumably from the battle that happened months earlier. I don't know why they aren't recovering. By contrast, my militia have recovered.
It's been a while since I've played, but I think I've had this problem.

The solution for me, as a work around, was to pause the game right after I rallied them and turn off their run command, or whatever it was called. I think the spawning of them bugs out sometimes and it thinks they ran a log ways or something if you don't catch it right away with a pause.
Damn, the Dev should give them horse to begin with! There is no point sending them out on foot all the way to other territory!

I haven't checked it myself but someone in another thread said that the retinue don't recover effectiveness (stamina) once disbanded, so if they had say 50% effectiveness when last disbanded then they'll still have 50% when next rallied.
