Ultimately, one fully staffed logging camp and two sawpits were able to support my entire industry and allow me to stock up on planks on top, but it did take some time to catch up.
I had the following buildings consuming planks:
3 joiners
2 blacksmiths (spears & polearms)
1 bowyer
Is it possible that your sawpits were not sufficiently supplied with timber?
I had a period where not enough oxen were available to supply both my building plots and the sawmill.
Had the same issue with the fletcher
Also had fletcher, didnt think to pause that as well but the joiner was more then enough to catch back up. Now I have more then enough lol.
You need to add a Oxen to your sawmills to keep them running while you're also building, also always make them right next to your lumberyards.
You're gonna need a lot of Oxen.
