What does assigning workers on Hitching Post / Stables do again?
Regardless of workers being assigned on hitching post / stables or not, I think animals are still being used to drag logs around or whatever. So how does adding workers affect these buildings?

Greetings,

Having a dedicated guide for the oxen speeds up moving and gathering items. Otherwise someone has to travel to the oxen then start the process that was needed.
- Also, assigning livestock to the gathering elements also speeds up production.
- Woodcutters, sawmill nearly any activity that has the option.

But you'll need to construct more hitching posts around some of these elements.
- Game will keep giving you warnings, "not enough hitching post avail."

If you assign families there, it means those families will be in charge of dragging the logs around etc. instead of the other families having to do it. So this would free up other families so they can concentrate on their regular assignment more. At least as far as I understand.

Ahhh so it's not just the oxes who would drag the logs around, but the families too?

Sorry, I am so dumb, lol. Perhaps you mean that at least there's a delivery guy with an ox instead of families leaving their dedicated assignments to grab supplies.
