storehouses not picking up barley or flax?
For some reason they refuse to go get these resources from the farms. when i tried to make the storehouse only accept these goods the workers just stood around and did nothing. Am I missing something?

Having the same problem. Very frustrating to see malt house workers carrying one single barley by hand when a storehouse for badly is next door but will not run a hand cart to the farm to just pick them all up. Huge productivity bottleneck for the ale production chain.
i import barley and should have good ale production but its just not working when not transported. it's like i should just import the ale directly instead and entire trading post is a means of circumventing the actual game and it's pissing me off as it is effectively autoplay feature pulling out gameplay and allowing for critical bugs or missing features to survive longer than they should.

I have 4 people in the trade post, 3 people in the farm, 6 people in the food storage, 50 barleys in the trade post but no one is moving the damn barley. Winter is coming and the pious sheep are starving to death because they have no bread to eat
I saw a vid on yt explaining why it may be happening. Basically if pantry/storag isnt full up to 90%, the storage / granary worker wont be sent to collect the stuff.

I checked the food warehouse only reached 10%, the farm was empty, and the warehouse staff 1/3 went to the market to sell, 1/3 went home, developed the family economy and also opened more. a stall for sale. The remaining 1/3 are running wild on the streets

This is for veggies and apples
I also have the same issue. Have to build weavers and malthouses next to each farmhouse

I dont have this issue any longer, I think in the end it's often due to just not having enough warehouse workers. Especially if they are all running shop stalls
Yes.
Overwork is one of the primary problems everyone is having...
Easily solved.
Don't store jack.
Nothing.
Anywhere.
A case like this? Yea. One storage. Un-upgraded. Throw a family (maybe two if they can't keep up that ONE time a year there is a harvest. Though, to be fair, they have however long it takes to do it by themselves anyways...so...). Right next to malthouse. Which is right next to brewer.
With storages NO WHERE FOR MALT OR ALE so YOU as the player don't mess up what the game is trying to do.

Eugh...Edit: Note, trade workers are greedy little ♥♥♥♥♥ and like to horde things and not let anyone touch their things. Sometimes it takes a hot minute for it to click for whoever that they CAN go take the hoarding traders loot from the piles in the trade depot.

I think there's a weird mechanic with farmhouses, especially with the upgrade. Sometimes they'll hoard the barley and flax and sometimes not. I'm sure there's a logical reason for it, but i'm not aware. Another thing I noticed was if you're trying to upgrade a field to a pasture, the ox from the farmhouse keeps stealing the logs!
Yes! Ox like planks.
Planks good.
Also, dear lord, even without Ox... NEVER UPGRADE A PASTURE WHEN IT ISN'T IN THE MIDDLE OF FALLOW CYCLE.
I'm pretty sure crops going to storehouses confuses game; probably some misflag.

Just a guess, though.
