Warehouses & Granaries
I would like to know what are the best locations for the warehouse and granaries to operate efficiently.

First, I think it's convenient to locate these buildings near the production centers, so that the assigned families can collect the resources quickly. Besides, I suppose that it's also convenient to build them near the market, thar way, they can immediately take those resources to the market.

Maybe the solution is to build these buildings at an intermediate point between the production centers and the market?

Tell me what you think.

Just next to the market, everything else is of secondary importance.
The stands refilf from production centers and warehouses and it's what you need to have sufficient supply, which is teleported directly into the houses where people live.

I build several warehouses, the granary maybe is enought with one.
You can build as many storehouses needed for your map and current situation to help you with logistics, but I will recommend to uncheck all the final products in the available list for each warehouses except the one you build just near the big market in your village which has only allowed final products.
So you ensure the products that ends in the market are near it so market sellers can walk to refill or even the warehouse or granary workers fill them with a cart, this will help you a lot with the logistics and helps distributing properly to the near houses.

Does blocking input even work right now?
Because I tried to do that with weapons and it doesn't.

Or do products need at least one warehouse which allows it for it to work?

Mine are currently opposite the market but not too far from the production areas neither, balanced placing I would say.

Also make sure to fill thek with families otherwise goods you import will sit at the trader and won't get to your population

First of all, I like the game even in this stage but the market, storage, production en distribution in the current is a complete, unrealistic buggy mess. Sorry but this has nothing to do with how this was done back in the day. Resources were not close to villages or cities at all so having your logging camp next to the market makes no sense. They sometimes needed to transport stuff for miles back to town. So having a buggy system that does not take this in to account needs to be redone. Also having 5 food stalls on 70 people makes nu sense. Having a market with only 70 people is also not realistic at all. I do life in a village with a market that goes back more than a 1000 years and surrounding villages needed to walk to our village to go to the market. A feudal lord or lady gave the rights for a market to a specific town or village and was the center of the region. Other people bought directly from farmers, hunters etc.. Having more than one stall per production building makes much more sense, the agent system combined with the market, stalls, storage buildings, the dumb AI makes distributing goods a nightmare. I now have 5 stalls in 120 people and it works like a charm. This would also be realistic.
