The stands refilf from production centers and warehouses and it's what you need to have sufficient supply, which is teleported directly into the houses where people live.
You can build as many storehouses needed for your map and current situation to help you with logistics, but I will recommend to uncheck all the final products in the available list for each warehouses except the one you build just near the big market in your village which has only allowed final products.
So you ensure the products that ends in the market are near it so market sellers can walk to refill or even the warehouse or granary workers fill them with a cart, this will help you a lot with the logistics and helps distributing properly to the near houses.
Because I tried to do that with weapons and it doesn't.
Or do products need at least one warehouse which allows it for it to work?
