Locked Trade ??

Someone please explain to me wtf am I doing wrong. Build a trading post, put a family in it, have the items on storage to trade, and trans, yet have a message saying "Trade is Locked because trade rules is set "not trade". Really aggravating, someone please explain what is going on

In the Trade tab, try clicking No Trade next to the good you wish to trade, should be given the options of Import/Export/Full Trade.

"No Trade" is the menu on the left hand side of the list. If you select the Trade tab in the trading post, find the item you want to trade. Unlock the trade route by paying to open it up on the right hand side of the trade item line. Once you have done that, select the "No Trade" drop down and either select Import, Export or Full Trade.

You have to pay for every single traderoute you want. I'd suggest to unlock the "max 25 silver / route" skill. Or otherwise it will be difficult to trade. You can find the icon at the trade tab on right. (it was completely different in the demo).

the route is for ur own traders.
wandering traders still can sell and buy everything that donsn`t say "trade route required".

That's a great tip as never noticed that - I have seen "Major Trade Route" but those seemed just the same as all the others :D
