Hunting camp location
I built a hunting camp in a random spot near my base which doesn't seem to serve any function. I later learned that there are those animal icons on the map. Should I just demolish the camp that I built and relocate near the animal icon?

Yes. Less travel time means the quicker they harvest the node and the sooner you can reassign them to something else while you wait for it to regenerate.

Should be able to relocate the camp. Relocation seems to have the same effect as demolishing and rebuilding though. Not sure if there is a difference.

IDK if I am doing something wrong or it it's a bug. My hunting camps were gathering meat, but now my hunters just aren't hunting. My camp is next to a wild animal area with 40/40 wild animals. My fellers are starting to starve because of this. IDK what is going on.

Have you tried manually applying the "work area" on top of the wild animal node?

Supply lines are important.

Predator Habitat -> Hunting Camp -> Tanner -> Granary/Storehouse. You can play with distance based on your preferences but keep this in mind.

Yes. I have.
After re-locating the camp they started hunting.

Its happening because once the hunting camp generic storage is full of furs they will just straight up stop hunting. You have to build a storehouse and a granary to take the supplies from the hunters camp and disperse it. Oh and its way better to build the house plots with big yards so you can make them into chicken coups and vegetable gardens. You wont have an issue with food once you have enough of them.

In the building window, under the advanced tab, you can click on the left icon and move the workplace somewhere else without having to move the entire building. This can be done with a bunch of buildings such as as the foresty building, hunter building, logging building etc.
