How now dead cow?

Anyone know a workaround for dead oxen? They don't despawn and they keep taking up a stable slot.

Happened to me twice. Once an oxen got stuck as my peeps were building a house and disappeared. Just now, had one disappear going to transport logs

Game needs a knacker or for the burial pit crew to haul them off.

same I'm not sure how to clear my dead oxen too, whats worst is I have dead goats too and the church won't clear it

I had to delete then rebuild my post/barn and it disappeared sometime after. I also had a ox stuck in the animal import building and had to delete that to free it. Unless I'm missing something. Yeah the burial crew should remove dead animals.

Try restarting your game. I had a goat that was struck by lightning and died while he was being transported to the pasture. It created a second copy of himself in the pasture, both copies were dead. Stayed that way for well over a game year, but I want to say restarting fixed it.

Restarting the game cleared up the dead oxen for me, thanks.
