Is Deep Mine bugged or am I missing something
I took Deep Mine. I built miner camps over iron and clay rich deposits.
The amount # of the deposits still keeps dropping.

Does it drop to 1 and then become infinite? How's it supposed to work etc?

Wondering the exact same thing.
Did you upgrade that particular mine into a deep mine?
cuz the development tech just unlock an upgrade to the regular mine
personally i did not have a need to upgrade yet so i did not even though i have that perk but its better to ask if you did upgrade it and then notices issues
when they drop to 0 they disappear on map, Im assuming if is a rich spot and deep mine once it hits 0 it just keeps producing, did not have the dev points needed to unlock it yet will try on next go around

Must be "rich" resource

Greetings,

From the Wiki:
"With the Deep Mining development branch the Mining Pit can be upgraded to a Deep Mine if it is placed over a Rich Deposit at the cost of 10 Planks and 50 Regional Wealth. This will allow it to produce resources indefinitely."

- Note; Has to be a Rich Deposit to start.

Yes. It's still dropping.

Edit: Reloading didn't change anything. Deleting that mine building and building a new one in some spot/upgrading it again didn't do anything. :)
2nd Edit: guess I'll just have to save and 12x speed until it runs out to see/test.

Ok, after an hour of 12x waiting (I ordered/ate pizza, yum), looks like LetGodSortThemOut's theory is correct. When the mine hits zero, you will still get a message that the resource is exhausted but don't panic, the node doesn't vanish and workers still keep working that 0-node and you keep gaining resource.

Which is fine, just could use to be made more clear how it works in future updates, so one doesn't spend lots of time wondering if it's actually working or not. >.>

Thank you for putting the effort in for this, was thinking the exact same thing today. Cheers.

all of my deep mines ran out and stopped producing,....it took awhile. For a long time the amount in the mine didn't change then suddenly dropped to half and then zero. I left a few but didnt see the resource in my inventory anymore. But i have some new ones so i'll pay close attention to if it still produces
