My settlement has zero oxes
So I expanded to a new region to start a new settlement. Now I somehow lost my starting ox there (don't know where it went). I have zero oxes now in that settlement and not enough regional wealth to buy a new one. I can't build stuff, without an ox. What do I do now? Is there a way to transfer livestock between settlements?

I not really sure, but I think there is a trade building specific to regions. However, u probably need wood to construct it. Not sure what you can transfer. I only played 1 region so far.

If you have a trader you can buy and sell resources.

You can transfer ressource btwn your regions with a logistic building wich is also boosted by mules .

Now if it can fix your situation idk has myself didnt even try this feature yet but this is th best bet atm i think. Maybe you can transfer money somehow too i guess ?

Greetings,
I know that's rough, but did you make any manual game saves before your Oxen walked away?
I did not make any saves. Also I don't have a trader yet. I do have that other building where you can transfer resources between regions, but that doesn't allow life stock to be transfered. And I have no other way to create regional wealth. I tried everything and also asked in Discord. It's just game over here.
I started a new game now. I guess that's just what you have to live with in EA :'D

Cmon, learn how to play the game.

When you conquer new region, you build a tent with the wealth that YOU have (250, 500, 1000).
You start from 0 in that region, build lumber first, 30-40 houses, market, church.
Make routes between your main village and your second village. Import resources needed. Upgrade houses to start making wealth, buy oxes.

It took me 2 years to bring the 2nd village from 5 families to 100 families.

As people say on these forums, get good.

The game is really not hard, and it is not broken, it is probably the best EA so far.

you get regional wealth back from any buildings you used the regional wealth on. delete a house with chicken coup to raise the funds for an ox, it seems like the only way as ive just encountered this issue myself

send out your army to conquer a bandit camp, send the spoils of war to the closest town that should fix your regional wealth problem. make sure to attack a camp that is closest to the region in trouble, should be good to go

Reminds my on my dead ox lying in the street. I have no idea how that happend. ^^ But maybe your oxed had the same issue.

I'm having the exact same issue. I had a bandit attack around a year after I set up a new settlement. Wiped out all the buildings and killed the ox. It was only a Level 1 settlement.

But, it's my second settlement. My first settlement is level 4 and ticking away nicely. I'm sitting on 500 power, 300 something gold. But there is no way to fix this.

Everything needs at least a few level 2 Burrages to trickle in some wealth to buy the new oxen. No oxen, no way to upgrade the houses, the entire region is stuck at level 1 for ever.

I made the mistake of trying to upgrade the granary when it was rebuilt, before I realised the problem. So now there isn't even a granary in the region.

Mine ran off even though it had a tethering stand.

This sucks dude. Does it make you feel good? Totally unnecessary.

Precisely. OP does not have an oxen problem. OP has a 'git gud' problem. He doesn't know where his ox went, but he apparently does not keep checkpoint saves so he can reload when he is learning a new game and things go south on him.

I never let my regional wealth go to zero. I always keep enough to buy a new ox.

Prize awarded.

And if I were in OP's position, I would look to see if I had a burgage with chickens or goats I could demolish to scare up some extra cash.
