How to buy sheep?

I have been trying to figure out how to buy sheep for the sheep farm but it's vary confusing. I ordered a pack mule and a horse but not sure how to make them work for me.

Build a Livestock Trading post, then go to the trade tab, set sheep to import, and set your target surplus to the amount of sheep you want.

You can buy sheep from livestock trading post > trade
I usuely build a sheep farm next to it and a pasture

Damn, I'm so blind, I didn't even see there was a livestock trading post. Was trying to buy them through the pack station. lol Thanks for the info.

Yeah. Also as far as I can see the only value come from oxen and AFTER you get a second region mules. Within the region only oxen will find use, mules is for trade between regions and the horses only seem to work at the trader, but so far I have not seen mine move even once despite having trade routes going

Same no sheep or lambs coming for months also ordered two horses which never came

I have a sheep farm, a pasture, a livestock trading post, I put one family in the post and one in the farm, ordered import of 20 sheep and they all arrived and went automatically to the pasture, not I have wool and thread and is all good.

This is weird because I already built a livestock trading post, but in the option trade of that building the button "establish trade" (just like the other building trade post) simply does not appear... It´s kind of missing...

Do you mean the 'Establish a Trade Route' button that the Trading Post has?

Livestock Trading Post does not have trade routes. so -- no button.

Use the dropdown on the left to set to Import, then set the Desired Surplus to the amount your herd to be.

Yes. Sheep cost money -- Regional Wealth. Just like oxen and horses and mules. And anything else you want to import.

You get some starting money, but you're not going to buy a lot of sheep with 100 gold. Not when you need a couple of veggie gardens and some more oxen.

So you need to find something to export for cash.

I have another issue with sheep..

For me, I chose Sheep Breeding Development Point, and my plan was to sell sheep. My pasture has grown to 73 sheep total. I have set the Trader to Export, and have set the Surplus at 15.

However, I never see money popping up from the Livestock Trade like I do with the regular Tradepost. Im not sure if I have ever sold a sheep or not.

One last thing; it seems the Livestock Trader has slots for the animals, which sometimes is occupied by my ox?
