Quick check list:
Saving/reloading sometimes works, but it's just resetting the AI. If there's some kind of bottleneck somewhere with the AI that's usually what's causing this. This is why I always have a family (you really only need 1) assigned to a hitching post/stable.
1. yes, two stables with one slot free each
2. yes, several
3. didnt at time time, but when assigning them now it doesnt fix
4. playing with no enemies currently
5. yes
ive also noticed that ALL construction has stopped. theres stuff that needs to be built, and i have a feeling its because both of the ox have bugged out. people are just walking to and from their houses
honestly best fix right now is to just start a new save or, better yet, wait until the next update cos Greg (the dev) says he is focusing solely on bug fixing for the next update. hopefully then it will be fixed
Please check if you have assigned an Ox to some building where you do not have any families working (logging camp, saw pit, etc.). You can find an animal assigned in “advanced” after clicking on a building.
This worked for me! Just assigned the ox to the woodcutting camp and it got unstuck
Only oxen work for now.
