am i supposed to start plowing and sowing ground during autumn to be ready for the next year

it says to do so but each time ive done it all progress reset during the winter

idk, when ever i harvest during the season and it goes to autumn after they plow again it just resets the plowing and sowing progress

you harvest in september, then if you use crop rotation, october will switch the year crops and start the new year crops, ive gone with the leave the first year fallow until october then plant 2 0.5 morgen fields. total of 6 fields so you have 2 every year and 4 fallow.
