i have 6 people living in it but theyre pretty much set to waiting task... what are they meant to do? I see they are servants? are they just eating away at my food and firewood without even constructing in town?

what should I do? send them against brigands? can you give me some quick general insight into combat, like can 5 knights take down 30 brigands like in ck3. How big should my force be vs an enemy army?

shouldnt use your retinue unless you have to until your confident that there not going to die or send them in with a fair wack of your regular guys. as for how big your force should be Big if your going against the enemy lord and just archers and a some spear or pikemen if your just going against enemy bandits
