any way to move people from one house to another?

As the title states i want to move a family closer to their job spot in a new home is there a way to do this?

maybe, if you click on the building, and then go to the "people" tab you can assign them a different building.

or maybe thats only to assign them to a different workplace. i havent tried it on houses yet.

You can move people to different specific jobs, dont think you can move a family into another house

I have not seen a way to move people to a different house, only to specific jobs. You can balance this out by putting housing closer to far away buildings like farm houses. Also don't put the weaver too close in the city, put it about halfway from the sheep and flax so that you simplify logistics trains instead of a single long one.

If you click on people in the house itself you can reassign them to a different job, that way assign the families to jobs near them

Why? You can already re-assign families to a closer job. No need to re-assign houses, too.

This is a solution in search of a problem. Don't waste time on it.

Actually, yes. You have to have all your current houses filled with as many families as they may hold. Then you build a new one where you want your selected family to move, and then you delete the house of that family.

It is a must because I had a family in a lv3 brewery home and they died in combat leaving the house empty. So I had to wait for people to join my town which was unlikely as the rating was dropping due to lack of brewery entertainment. In the end I swapped a chicken coop for the brewery. Just an annoying game mechanic which hopefully added in the future.
