yeah are you upgrading / building ? Or did you make a manor yet.. it will pre-use planks depending on how big an sprawling you made it.. But mostly its buildings being built.. (also dont forget to check the log / top middle of screen.. I had a nice back to back Raiders steal 13 planks heh)
- Fletcher at a Burgage Plot making Warbows.
- Building or Upgrading structures.
- Selling via Trading Post.
- Bandit stealing them.
It also may be worth using the toggle button to the right of your settlement name that lets you see total resources vs. surplus. If you look at the total and you see planks, and then at surplus and you don't, then you know there's something consuming them. From there it's just a matter of tracking down what is doing it.Woodcutter is for firewood only. They should be assigned to a different part of the forest than your Lumbercamp, they will chop their own wood and turn it into Firewood, they don't produce logs.
Build a Lumber Camp and a Sawpit with a Hitch inbetween them. Assign a family to each building and you'll see the process. You can also click a building and select "People" and it will show you exactly where/what they are doing at any given moment.
