Why does not my forrester plant trees?

they just sit in their home... i see that the forester building shows pantery 0/50 what does it need?

have you designated a area for them to plant trees in the Advanced tab?

Mine wouldn't in winter, not sure what seasons they can plant in but Spring seems fine

Yes i have.. and they are stuck in their house anyways..

same when i try to make a militia... the people gather their swords and shields and stays in their house for days without going back to work.. "and no i didnt alert them so i cant stear them round".

makes sense...a tree won't grow that much during the winter...

Why wouldn't it be automated? I think theres an issue when thats the only building I need to manually control makes no sense

because if you didn't specify their work area, they would plant trees everywhere at random.
Every other game with this mechanic works the same way; the work area is either a radius around the building, or it's a radius around the building that can be moved.

Theres no negative to having trees planted randomly so that should be default unless you used the feature which is designed to be in a specific area. Yeah weird other games work that way so i'm not sure if its a bug or what happened

my last question is about farming sorry to change topic but i dont want to make a new one incase people think im spamming the forums.. you know people nowdays lol...

i havent tried farming yet,, but ive heard from people that "the workers dont work farms during summers" cause thats when the thingy grows..

does that mean i can unasign the farmers and have them do other jobs during the summer? or i should keep them as farmers all the time ?

Yeah, that is one thing that you need to micromanage. Just make sure that you have enough people for harvesting and planting season :)

That makes zero sense. They should work outward from the forestry hut looking for places to plant. This is INCREDIBLY simple to program.

Given that the majority of us are putting our forestry huts directly next to either the wood cutter or logger, having them naturally work outward from the hut is literally IDEAL. As the cutters/loggers cut things down the planters should immediately replace the downed tree.

They were probably done planting. If you zoom in you can see where trees are starting to come in. It might take a month or two though.

Also you can pick AND expand the area that you want to plant in, in the advanced tab. You can plant in a huge area if you want to.

should be, woodcutter also works without choosing a place to cut trees.

game is sadly really really buggy, i had to restart multiple times allready because game broke, and that under 4h gameplay. really annoying...
