The alternative is to put everything for regional wealth (currency) on the trade market, of course you are also losing some regional wealth in the process, but it might work more efficient.

Bartering may be implemented later on but juat about every comes back with minimal quantity. Could be a bug with the mules, but its pretty easy to work around for now.
