Log Storage?

Is there a way to increase Log Storage? I am stuck at 28 storage that is full. No other storage buildings hold Lumber. Am I missing something?

you need to place another building that produces lumber. that's the only way i have found so far that increases the storage of lumber. if you have 2 family's assigned to lumber, simply produce another lumber building and divide the family's between them

The Storehouse does not store Logs. They need to allow for the Storehouse to store logs, or build a Log Storage building.

Just build the Store house or warehouse or w/e it's called. They do store logs in it.

They will store 28 at the wood cutters house but then the rest goes into the store house as far as I know.

And if you upgrade that warehouse it goes from 250 storage to 2500 or something like that.

I just turn it off once I'm around ~25 Logs or so and use that Labor somewhere else until it gets low enough. Other than that, build a 2nd but DON'T man it, just use it as a place for the Ox to drag Logs to and store.

I'm getting a "storage is full" notification from the logs constantly, its getting very tiresome. both from the wood cutters and the firewood. They only store 2 logs and then they start screaming its full.

I have 2 upgraded store houses close by with workers in them. and I did some testing and got another oxe and hired a person for the stable and put it right next to the wood work places and it didn't improve logistics either

The Storhouse stores Firewood and Planks, but not Logs. They never bring Logs to it, and when you look under "Advanced" tab that list all the recouses and you can choose what ones you want or do not want to store, Logs is not an option.

Darn but kudos for historical accuracy. Logs were mostly dragged by work horses or oxen. Large timber volumes were usually floated on rivers.

They only hold a single log (thus the constant and annoying "generic storage full" messgae)
The construction reserve is the point at which they won't grab more logs, but those logs are always stored in the woodcutter

I have somehow 6 logs in my manor :D dont know how they got there(playing on game pass) but manor has storage, from what I saw so maybe we can specific it there too like in warehouse?

The lumber workshop only cost 2 logs to make and holds 28 logs. I placed down a couple of them on spots of the map I don't use. They automatically fill up all of them.

For now, I usually have two or three lumber yards dotted about the place that I cycle my guys around after deforesting their immediate region. It's a cumbersome workaorund but it does work.

build another logging camp on the other far side of your town. switch workers between each yearly. this will keep trees fresh on each side & give you 2x storage
