Does plot size matter only for Veggies?
... or does it impact on other extensions' outputs, like chickens, goats, breweries, etc.

Only vegies and apples orchards are impacted by size from my experience...

Big plots, veggies, apples.
Small plots, chickens and goats.

Slightly wider plots give one extra family slot. Two families per house increases the inventory of the house and imho the production too. You dont need to buy the workshop for the 2nd family so you can actually save up money. Smart management!

Lvl 3 house has double the space for families so small plot with one family becomes two. Wider plot with two families will become four. Now, the workshop becomes super efficient!

I hate this ... I just hate it ... this isn't building a city, this is min/max'ing a spreadsheet. I want to just play the game in generalities and allow the terrains and environment to dictate what works and what doesn't.

I'm not trying to be an ass ... but this kind of min/max'ing is what ruins just about every game like this out there. Because then the Devs (and we have DevS now) then start developing to that crap and they assume the power players are min/max'ing.

Different kind of game ... but spread sheet min/max'ing is exactly what killed World of Warcraft for so many of us.

Just because you get a better return by putting carrots in a big lot vs small lot doesnt really turn into a min/max tunnel. You can do it either way...one is just more efficient. I do all kinds of things in my towns so far that arent so effecient but I wanted to do it that way and it works so screw it.

If there were other guys out there playing against me and trying to steal my carrots then maybe i'd be more inclined to min/max and take THEEEEEIIIIR carrots...but in this game who cares?

the good thing is, you dont need that much min maxing in this game. its more fogiving.

Don't do it then.

It does, if the plot is too big and no granaries close some of the veggies will not make it to the market.

It's not min-maxing... Not in the slightest... A bigger farm plot producing more produce is just logical, not min-maxing... It just makes sense...
