Can’t hire mercenaries
The buttons under available companies are greyed out and the text says Insufficient treasury funds even though I have 600+ gold.

Bug or have I missed something?

600 gold in regional wealth or treasury?

ur 600 are likely local and not ur own.
build a manor and tax them to get coin.

Do YOU have 600+ gold or does your REGIONAL WEALTH have 600+ gold? You can't earn any gold to hire Mercs until you've built the Manor and have started Taxing your Citizens.

upper roght side of the screen.
next to ur picture, u can also see ur current influence there.
