is there a list of what they can transport or is it a mystery? they dont seem to help transport the grain so my peasants have to fetch it themselves
also it should be noted that even if your oxen were to transport them instead of your peasants, you would still need a peasant guiding the oxen, so irregardless you're having a peasant being used to transport wheat.
I believe they're used by traders to transport goods abroad.
i had a farmhouse full of workers stop working on a field as soon as i assigned livestock to it and because the field was far away it takes much more time for the ox to plough the field than the farmers.
you need to upgrade the hitching post to a stable
The ox plows a field much faster by far than the workers. Ox are heavy haul assists, meaning they haul heavy loads, specifically logs. They're the ones hauling all the logs, from when the trees are cut, to where they're dragged to the logging camp, to hauling logs to every construction site etc. They're not for hauling goods from one storage to a worksite, that's what hand carts are for.
