Random shutdown?
Twice today since downloading the game, my entire computer has died and shutdown in the middle of the game.
Has anyone else had this issue?
Im trying to discern if this is something with the game, or if i am going to need to buy a new PC in the future, worst case scenario.

guys pc specs? whats your psu? and how old is your psu? Unreal Engine is very demanding

I've had a similar problem before, for me it was a heating issue. The game is pretty demanding, and is likely pushing your systems to the point where they shut off to prevent damage to your system.

Hey folks, try this out: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1363080/discussions/2/4355619963545197863/

In short, turning down the settings seems to help.

i can try turning down settings. AFAIK, my steam library is public, and it would be a huge shock if this game was so demanding that it caused a shutdown, but not any others. i suppose anything is possible.

Yes I too have had this problem, checked me error logs and it is causing a Kernel power shutdown, this is not good

havent had an issue, this sounds very much like a psu issue. i had the same problem with my last computer.. then realized the psu was failing. replaced the psu and no issues after.

Sadly this is not true in this instance, there is definitely something causing problems somewhere, my psu is fine, I have checked it and checked it again and there is nothing wrong it. Others have also had these issues so you are one of the lucky ones I guess

thats what i did too, because it seemed to be only with conan exiles, could play less demanding games no problem. but every time i ran conan, boom. after replacing psu.. ran conan fine. but if you have a different psu lying about you may want to take a couple minutes and just test it to be sure. but hope you have better luck soon. i always hated not being able to play when it did that to me.
