Camera rotation

This game is already so much better than any AAA city builder released in the last 5 years, thank you! But please for the love of christ let us rebind the camera rotation input, mouse 3 is such a 2008 setting, I have 2 buttons sitting under my thumb not being used :(

The key binds are "F" and "G" for left and right rotate. Assign the thumb buttons to them.
See if that works.

I suppose, but at that point I might as well just keep using the keyboard to rotate, I'd like a setting that allows me to use my mouse, it's much smoother that way

it's called pressing and holding your mouse wheel like almost every game like this and the mouse wheel is the best button for camera rotation

it's a setting introduced before mice had more than 3 buttons, if your room-temp IQ is unable to comprehend more than that then feel free not to use it but I'd rather use my thumb than my index, since the index is already doing something

Also every game released after 2018 has the option to change that setting, hence the reason I'm asking

I *really* wish there was a standard way to control the camera in these top-down/isometric 3D games, regardless of genre. It's always the first thing that bugs the hell out of me. I much prefer having a camera modifier hotkey instead of seperate rotate and tilt keys or buttons. Please consider this!

I dislike forced tilt and zoom limits too. Some developers view it as an artistic choice, but this game does not have any bad angles!

Hell I wish I could un-bind the auto rotate when you click in mouse 3 and I would be happy. I hate rotating my cam just for it to snap its rotation back to default because my mouse wheel click is a little sensitive.

For those that do not like the MMB for tilt and zoom,

- If your have manufacturer software for it often that has the capability to "reassign" mouse keys. Ie: Ligitech has Gaming software just for that.

My G700s mouse MMB click stopped working, so I reassigned it to the mouse wheel tilt right.
Works fine with that option.

Also some keyboards have the same options to "assign" anything to keys.
- Those with "G" keys can have them do anything.
- Keyboards can have "profiles" designed just for specific games, any key not normally used for Manor Lords can be assigned nearly anything.
(Even mouse buttons.)

Just saying.
