How to settle other regions

Hello there. I claimed a region but I can't build anything because there is no timber on that region. I built Pack Station to send there some timber but there is no timber option. There is everything except timber (plank, firewood etc.). What am I doing wrong?

Same issue. It says a settlers camp only costs 250 wealth, which I have in my main region. But the minute I want to place it in another region, it says "not enough goods".

Possible solution - perhaps the settler's camp costs 250 of the TREASURY currency as seen in the top right? Like, the money obtained from taxes? Will introduce the income tax to my slovenly peasants and report back later.

Same, I was thinking maybe need the Manor House building first?

This is correct. In the Administration tab of the build menu there is a settler's camp option next to the manor option. It costs money (more if you choose the higher options when asked) and you can place a camp where ever you like in the new territory with all of the supplies you've paid for and sent.

came across this today, I think it may be a bug because both treasury and regional wealth are 300+ ... still not enough goods ? any fixes?

Got the same issue. Have like 1500 gold and the second I scroll over to new region it shows as 0. Trying to place settlement says not enough resources. Can't send money via pack station only goods. Think it's a bug

You have 3 options for the settlement tent, depending on how much money you have in your region. The money you spend there is transferred to the new region. From then on, you practically start building a village all over again! Each region has its own financial management!

It takes the money from your Lord's private money, not the main settlement money. You need to build the tent camp (forgot name) first, which is next to the manor in the build screen, which will 'colonise' the region.
