Should be fixed, every medieval city builder games has this feature, or at least defensive walls.
This isn't such a big deal, pretty sure he can easily fix this since it's just an issue of layering.
At the moment we cannot build anything inside Manor walls. For sure he will enable this on a later date, but at least he can fix the layering first...
Also, another bug, when designing the Manor roads, sometimes they bugged and are build as walls ?!
Of course the very first thing I wanted to do is building a protection wall around my village especially since they steal food and stuff all the time from my storges.
So what I did was placeing the towers all around my village... wonder though if they need archers to work... anyway and now I can't select anything in my village.
Don't see why the Manor even needs such a polygon for the selection. Isn't it enough to have just the Manor Building selectable.
but I see that likely that whole thing is one game item/object and it is a general thing.
So yes moveing it to the lowest selection level sure would help us here unless something speaks against that then maybe prevent us from placeing the tower all around the city and add the city wall icon with remark will come later so we know this are not meant as city walls but just a Mano-Building-Wall Element.
But the game is good. Had one CTD the very first start (after loard and game type selection when entering/really starting the map) but not a single one after the new start.
I can also not delete the walls which makes it impossible to recover from that polygon.
You can move the towers and the Manor itself though but as long as the Wall can not be moved deleted or reshaped everthing within it is unaccessible.
Secon once the Enemy overrun the town and burned everything down ..which i have to say looks cool... they do not leave every.
Seems I can rebuild all the rubbles with zero cost however if you try that they somewhen spot you and burn everything down again. The game didn't end because there were still some families left.
Well I reloaded and then it were only 2 times 18 instead 3 times 18 and so I could fight back.
Yeah I guess there is still things missing. It is EA so it is ok.
THE DEV SPECIFICALLY SAID TO NOT USE THE MANOR FOR THAT AND PROPER CITY WALLS ETC .... WILL BE ADDED LATER /§
Also obviously everything isn't finished yet.
Manor house does NOT equal castle. Y'all are wrong. All wrong. But that's ok, as long as you actually try to learn something...
You know what happens then? When an army marches through, instead of everyone just picking up their things and heading off to a field to wait them going through...well, they built a 'wall'. So now their homes and everything there gets burnt to the ground. This is history. This game is based on history. Not some weird mutated version of video game 'history'.
No one care also i do what i want with lmy lands.
Second a part of history isnt the entirety of history . Humanity isnt binary either.
They did absolutly nothing to hold of bandits because the gate stayed open during the attack and they simple walked through.
