Sheep wont leave Livestock trading post

I imported Sheep but they won't leave the Livestock trading post. I have a sheep farm and a pasture right next to it, but they just stay in the trading post. Any idea how to mve them into the sheep farm? And yes I assigned family to each building.

I had to assign a family to BOTH the Livestock Trading Post AND the Sheep Farm - then the sheep moved over to my open pasture - I was then able to unassign the family on the Livestock Trading Post (just keeping the Sheep Farm assigned).

I just played 8 hours of it but i managed to uinderstand sheep a little bro, livestock trading is only to buy sheep at maximun of 4, later or better at the same time build a FARM FOR SHEEP (that is available to build "in tiles" like the market place) once you get a sheep, IT INSTANTLY RUNS by itslef TO THE SHEEP FARM and thats it, you stock sheeps till you want to farm them :3 i recomend at least 20 sheeps but 10 is good if you have not many houses.

Unassigning did not work for me. I had to demolish the trading post and then the sheep walked over into the pasture by themselfs : )

I just can't seem to sell the sheep I breed. I have 40+ sheep and lambs, but the trading post seems to think I only have about 24 total and won't sell a single one even regardless of how I set it up.

I cant seem to move the ox to another stable. I tried having workers on both why trying to buy 1 but doesnt seem to work. the game is fun but very clunky and buggy.

Had same issue, in my case the game was counting my sheep as “in pasture”, but they were still at the livestock trading station.

Tried completely unassigning families at trading station, didn’t work
Tried demolishing trading station, didn’t work
Tried assigning more families at trading station or sheep farm, didn’t work
Finally, unassigning families from the sheep farm got the sheep to head to the pasture, and then reassigning a family afterward had everything working great since

i had a pet sheep that just hung around the Livestock Depot for years.

After buying sheep, one sheep will stay always in the trade station. And one sheep becames the pet to one villager. It follows that villager all the time and everywhere.🙂 Then I demolished the livestock station. The one stuck in the station joined in the pasture while the other as a pet has been always the soul animal to that villager and I don't know what to do. I wonder when the call for the battle , will the sheep follow the villager to the battle field too? 😄

😆. The same problem with my imported mule. It follows the importer everywhere, when collecting ale or barley.

I think I get it. If you have a sheep farm it must have the max sheep before they OVERFILL to the livestock trading post. Which makes sense if you go the sheep breeding route. I have 5 sheep at the farm and 1 at the trading post which means I have a surplus of 1
