Game gives the vaguest hints and says turn off tutorial, what tutorial?

I've no idea what I'm doing.

I've built everything, I build house after house but I always have 5 homeless workers. My population halved in the winter with no reason given despite having plenty food and firewood.

Outlaws apparently steal my resources without even being seen in game.

Placed a field on the most fertile land I have and nothing grew over spring and summer, even with people assigned to the farmhouse.

I put a hunting lodge where animals are and the animals disappeared.

I'm 1 month from running out of food but i have foragers foraging, pasture but i can't get animals, field didn't grow, animals marked on the map seemed to disappear.

I have yet to play. May get to here in a few hopefully! What I would suggest is Youtube. Have you ever played a Paradox Interactive game? I have to imagine they are way worse than this game difficulty wise and the tutorials in those games are pretty much non-existent. My recommendation would be to go spend some time watching someone play and explain things. The other part of that though is the more you play the more you will learn the mechanics. Sometimes a simple video can teach you the basics though and then you can learn more advanced things through gameplay. Best of luck!

This is EA. I think proper tutorial is going to be the last thing to be implement as things change in between. Check youtube videos.

If you disturb animals they will migrate, dont put anything in the red circle around their habitat

As for food and fuel, dont forget to build market so they can actually get it

about the wild animals, if you place buildings at/on the red circle it say that they will run away, you need to place the hunting camp or any other building outside the red circle, and probably not cut trees near them or inside the cicle

you need livestock trading post to import animals.

farm fields are sown in fall. You cannot plant crops before fall, and until they've been planted nothing will grow there. This is explained in-game if you hover over the current month on the bottom right.

don't put a hunting lodge directly on top of where animals are. Build it nearby.

not sure why you're having constant 5 homeless families, but that might be a glitch. I have seen that happening on some twitch streams I'm watching, so you're not alone with that one. Perhaps try to demolish the initial encampment that homeless people are staying in.

have a market etc, think I figured out how to put items up for trade but no idea when they sell or how i get currency.

As for Paradox games Adventurous lol Hearts of Iron and Cities Skyline were a walk in the park to learn haha

Someone started invading and I somehow have 20 spears and shields but i needed 36, no idea how I got them lol but no currency to buy more.

I'm gonna watch videos to try and get tips (shouldn't have to spend hours watching youtubers to learn a game) then I'm gonna start again.

SIGH ... sure it's not perfect but 1 there is something at least + a sort of codex 2 everything is pretty much intuitive or self explanatory anyway ... be patient be curious.
