Farms dont generate grains

I have a problem, my farms doesnt yield any grain after the harvest. I should have it stored from 2 fields that are >1.0 size but literally none appeared after few years.

Keep people assigned to it. They will turn wheat to grain in the farm. But only after harvesting everything and bringing it inside.

Same issue on 1.0 morgen size field. Plant wheat, wait for it to grow, expected Yield 370. Watch families harvest the entire field. 6 Grain...huh?

Same issue here. Seems like all farmers busy working on something or just stay at home instead of gathering grain.

Yeah farms seem to be severely underperforming for me as well.

I just harvested a 700 yield barley field and got 30 grain? Makes no sense.

Harvest is only in september I guess. After that my fields reset. Get around 100/2500 crops. Guess I let them bugfix for now nad play something else :D

Yeah either the yield display or the harvest amount is wrong.

Likewise agree - cool game but gonna give the devs a bit of time for bugfixing.

You cannot get 370 yield from a 1.0 field. Sorry, but no.

did you make it on right farming ground ? like 3 different fertile tiles. also to note maybe better off just using your housing for food since something may not be working at least i see homesteads make items and food. i haven't ran in to problem with farming as of yet barley and flax seem to work just fine. 1 farm smallish size 2 family yield 300. also to note once farm is harvested it takes it to next place to be processed. before you get your finished product. so not always shown that you have full yield from the farm to grainy.

Yield is harvested grain and straw from field. After harvest it has to be processed into grain. That's the difference between numbers of yield and grain.
There is a bug that harvest is only in september. After that fields reset...

Demolish your fields and you workers will start threshing. I think you can also make a field fallow and it'll do it but I just demolished all my fields and they started making grain

Don't demolish or do anything, there is no bug. After the fields are plowed and sowed, they will start to transform wheat into grain.

I have this exactly display in my game. 1.0 morgen and it expected 370, turned into 6 Wheat.
