All my planks are being used?

Why are all my planks being used so fast, i don't have nay active construction. I just want to build a manor but I can't even get 20 planks with the rate that they keep being used.
I have a reserve of 4 logs and 2 sawmills with 4 families total working on planks. Is that just no enough? its a medium village

i have the same problem. i think the bow builder and the shield maker are wasting it somehow idk

you can set a construction reserve, but that doesnt work somehow.

yeah i realized the bow builder was using all my planks so I paused it and it was fine then . There needs to be a menu showing a list of production and working families imo
