This.

without a marketplace your villagers will not get any food, firewood or clothing.
I've got marketplaces, even very close to the houses

Do you have a food storage? You need to assign families to the food storage and then they start to create marketplace sell spots
Do you have a Granary with people in it?

I have the exact same problem and putting 2 families in the Granary don't do it either. Some house holds just seem too lazy to get food on there own.
I had the same problem, especially after 100+ villagers. My problem was making new marketplaces too big, which caused my villagers to build 8+ food stalls in the new marketplace and stop loading the old ones. so now I make sure my marketplace has max 3-4 locations (wood, food, clothes) and if necessary I move market stalls from zones to zones to control the number of stalls and their arrangement. I hope this helps
I currently have almost 200 villagers, I have 3 market locations which is 1 next to every neighborhood, each with over 6 stands per market place, full staff at granary and storehouse, full staff at trade station. Some of my level 2-3 burgages have started complaining about lack of food/fuel/clothing stands, even though I definitely have all of those things with multiple production facilities all fully staffed. Side note, for some reason my imported wheat NEVER leaves the trade station and is just stuck there. If you find out whats happening lemme know.
i found i had to increase the workers at the granary

Same for me. It never leaves. I guess farmers don't like to touch others wheat for threshing.
I had this issue but figured out the problem after watching a video from Tacticat (forgot which one). Basically you put the market stalls right next to the granary and warehouse, and you want the granary/warehouse workers to run the market stalls. If any one else is running the stall, you can go in and remove them until the granary or warehouse person takes over the stall. I am running fine with just 3 little market huts (one for food/clothing/fuel).
make sure you have a bunch of free labors too. Its doesn't specifically say at the beginning tutorial , it say unemployed help with construction, but they also run goods. I struggled with this and decided to try it, all my problems are solved.
take a look see.
https://ibb.co/qYvRcz5 **edit, im up to over 70 houses now and T3 without issues**
My markets are even spread out contrary to people saying making them all central and i even have some like the clothing shop run by my tannery to free up workers at the warehouse.

your imported wheat is stuck because you need a farm and a farmer who should turn the wheat into grain. Build dedicated storage for wheat and grain only. Have the worker from storage take the wheat from trade house and bring it to dedicated storage. Disable other granaries from taking the wheat. It worked for me. But with this early access mess of a game, who knows if it would actually work for you.
