no underground water system

when i go to place a well nothing shows up to show where the underground water system is. however i could place it anywhere i wanted to and it has worked. completed the burgage need for water as well

Use the overlays on the right side of the screen (when in the build menu) to see where you can place them.

You can actually deactivate that in your lobby settings. Maybe you did by accidant

OVERLAY option is your friend, shows you underground water and how good or bad the soil is for farming

Even the overlay on the right side doesn´t show the underground water lines anymore. First game start it did, but on 2nd new game start no water lines are visible.

Same here. Clicked on underground water but there isn't any on the entire map.

If you choose the easy version of the game, you can place your well wherever you want and the water doesn't show on the map.

*Edit: you can change this in game settings

Nvm, I get it now. Playing "relaxed" mode doesn't require underground water so it doesn't show, it seems. I built a well and ppl are using it.

Thanks for helping I couldn’t find water either I thought since early access it was broke .

Having the same issue where I started a new world and there is no underwater system visible.

Are you able to place a well? If so then your game settings do not require underwater system.

I’ve had to restart my game 15+times to get a map with water.
