Exact time of release? 2pm GMT?
It says 3 hours approx - 2pm GMT/9am EST - Seems about right

It's releasing today that's all that matters.

Yep 2pm GMT - The timezone map on Discord shows it nicely :) All meetings now cancelled from 2pm onwards and an early finish for me. Bring it on!

When it says "approximately 3 hours" it means between 3 and 4 hours. Like when it later says "releases in approximately 1 hour" it means between 1 and 2 hours. Sometimes this get's people confused. Because once it's less than 1 hour, it will jump from saying "releases in approximately 1 hour" to "releases in less than 1 hour".

Therefore the release time (at least as per store page) is 1pm GMT/UTC or 2pm BST or 3pm CEST or whatever time zone you are in.

EDIT: to the folks saying it's 2pm GMT, did the developer confirm this? Because the store page points at 1pm GMT which is 2pm BST, don't forget that Europe is in summer time now and UK/IE uses BST which is GMT+1 and central Europe uses CEST which is GMT+2.

mine just went from release in approx 3 hours to 7 hours :/

My Steam says Approx 2 hours. It is 11:13 UK GMT. (UK BST)
Which indicates release is around 1pm. Not 2pm. but we'll know in 3 hours..

Meanwhile I'll be playing Civ 6.

It's correctly displayed on Steam, what do you mean? Maybe see my previous answer for reference that may clear it up. Depending on whether you are confused with time zones or with how Steam uses the "releases in approximately 2 hours".

Why is Sao Paulo in Brazil 10PM? Doesn't make sense. More like 10AM.

It's 2pm for the UK and will be 3pm for Poland. Times have been posted and confirmed by developer above. There is also a countdown on the store page.

I am saying that, as the publisher, we know when we're publishing our own game :)

(Although to be fair things can happen last minute and we could be late, but the point is we've stated publicly when we *intend* to launch the game, barring any unforeseen circumstances.
