Can't the battle fanbois wait to see what the dev has in store before they start clamoring for battle mechanics?
Mods will definitely complicate development because of the number of nimrods who slam in mods, don't test, then report them as 'bugs' when the mod borks their game.
Best leave modder support for after the game is complete and released.
(OK, I looked more carefully at the templates, and I might play On the Edge template if all it is is busting bandits, but I'll play it on relaxing.)
Did they said that? If so i dont know why people complain abaut the battle system
On discord a disclaimer was posted that asked players to stop discussing the availability and integration of mods until the game was fully released, as playing with mods will lead to issues during Early Access that are entirely user-caused.
The dev has also stated that bug reports from players who play with mods will have to be rejected and ignored, as mods will remain unsupported until way after full release.
Yea thats why said it would be could for anyone if the Devs just do there thing making it a good builder, but with Mod support for people who want battle system improved.
And support shouldnt be a problem. Just look at Indie games like Terraria they dont have much of a problem with the modding community with false bug reports
didnt know because im not on Discord . So ty for the Information. Im too against early mod implementation.
But than i dont understand people hating on it because of the battle system if they already said Mod support would come when full released.
And how big exactly is the development team of Re-Logic who made and published Terraria?
EDIT: Nvm, googled it. They are 10 people. So 10 times the personnel that is currently working actively on Manor Lords. 10 x the personnel able to devote time to bug reports.
No wonder they have no problem with that.
Idk exactly the numbers but when modding started they where pretty small team. He started alone i think?
