I'm confused.
I'm not sure why you're confused. Maybe because you expect me to be smart. I'm not. I'm an idiot, and very forgetful.
Sorry for your loss(es).
"If money is tight right now or you're still uncertain, we'll run those 25% discounts often and give you plenty of opportunities to get the game later as well, no one should feel any fear of missing out or any kind of pressure. Or if you'd just rather wait some time and jump in later after some patches and updates have come out, that's fine too --"
Thanks, sorry for asking such an easily-answered question... Like I said before. Not smart.
Ultimately, you only have to get burned once and you've lost more than you ever saved. It's best to avoid the grey market. Take this with a grain of salt. It's a calculated risk, and it's important to know the risk exists. Publishers who sell on Steam are contractually not allowed to sell their products cheaper on another platform, so those keys likely did not originate through proper channels.
The only 3rd party I would consider getting a Steam Key through would be Humble Bundle. They are legitimate and benefit charities.
How does that actually that work? Does "CD Keys" buy the game in bulk from somewhere and then sell them at a markup or are they a game pirating portal?
Always wondered where sites like CDKEYS even get their game keys to begin with?
