Thats all fine and well. The fact is that I am still outnumbered 2 to 1.

You should also build at least a level 2 medium village in every conquered region, then add a manor with a garrison tower and use it to create another retinue and max it out to 24 men of retinue PER REGION. You can have up to 7 retinues fully upgraded with plate armor in the final battle, significantly shifting the odds in your favor.

I have all types of militia. Is there one I should be favouring over others?
I did this to get two more units of 36 and that was enough to stomp the baron. Thanks!
That's not an army...
