Spears and Large Shields issue

I made some swords and small shields no problem but soon as i changed it to spears and large shields it makes 1 of each and they disappear keeps making 1 of each and disappearing...

Do you have a spear militia unit created that has members acquiring arms? People take their equipment home with them to have it ready nearby rather than needing to run to the storehouse when mustered, so that could be where your manufactured gear is going.

Yep, pretty much my only guess: If you have a spear militia that is still below its max strength of 36, potential new recruits will grab a spear and large shield as soon as they are available and become part of that spearmen militia, taking the weapons from stock and storing them at home.

Ahhh okay I had a spear militia but they all died so i wasnt sure if it was still active. ty
