Timber not hauling. Fuel not being made.
I guess I must be missing something, but I can never get my timber hauled off to the stockpile. Am I missing something simple?

Try assigning a family to the hitching post/stable. If none are assigned, workstations will use the ox to transport materials themselves - you may be encountering logistical issues with not enough oxen or other workshops/material gathering buildings hogging the ox. Also, and this may be the key issue, is if no one is assigned to the warehouse/granary then no one is assigned to haul it there. The stockpile that you start the game with is not a storage location but rather just a marker for the location of starting materials.

Edit: Actually, I think assigning a family to the warehouse/granary just assigns a family to manage stalls not transport from workshops/harvesting buildings.

I confirmed that people assigned to a storehouse/granary will haul resources there, but people assigned to work buildings will do so also - more slowly. You probably need more Oxen. Also I've found that if your logging camp is too far away it bottlenecks a bit, but it should still be slowly hauled off.

You may need another Oxen as Timber will just lay around on the ground if they are too busy with other construction related tasks. Possibly unrelated but try moving the hitching posts/stables closer to the Logging Camp in an attempt to reduce travel times.

I have this same issue with hunter camps and log huts. I can't even progress any further because I can't gather logs or food. Wild animals in 20/20 and have two families assigned for hunting and I have designated their area to hut, but they will not hunt. Same goes with my log huts. 3 families assigned plenty of trees to cut down, but they will not collect logs.

I am out of wood, food and it's the start of winter in my play through. Kinda annoying, but is what it is I guess.

People also stop working when their pantry is full. So in the instance of hunting camp. If the pantry is full (hunting camp) then they will stop working until the pantry emptied (or part emptied). The pantry can only be emptied by having people in the storehouse or granary because thats their job.
