New to the game -- to play Beta or NO Beta ???
As the title says I'm new to the game, haven't even launched it. But I want to get started now and I'm wondering if I should play the beta version or the stable one.

While I think a new player should generally go with the stable version the patch notes of the beta sound really promising to me.

Btw, how can I install the beta? In the settings of the game it said no betas were available.

The beta squashed a lot of bugs, overhauled markets and farming, and balanced many other aspects of the game. I would normally advise someone new to play standard, but this is an exception. The beta is simply better and even more stable.

Normally, stable should be the way to go as beta-builds tend to be buggier or otherwise, unpolished.
In this case, however, beta is the straight up objectively beter build of the game. In terms of bugs, stability, performance, and most importantly, ballance. I think SlavMagic should have rolled these out as regular patches for the base build, though I understand why he is cautious and worried about introducing major bugs to regular users. Unfortunately the release version is so messy that even the not-yet-fully-tested beta builds are just straight up improvement, as of now, there is no reason to stay on the release build.
