RTS combat optional?
Can anyone who played the demo give an answer to this? I'm interested in the town building, but the RTS combat is kinda holding it back for me. I was hoping maybe one could build barracks, archer ranges (or whatever it is called) and train soldier, but that they would get into combat automaticly if enemies were spotted in the area. Sure a player controlling in RTS would ofc be 1000% better than an AI (depending on difficulty), but i'm a very casual player, and would like to just build a town with some defenses, but let the game take care of the combat itself for me. Maybe i could give some orders, but manually having to move troops from point A->B->C is just not that casual for me...

The whole self control thing won't be possible but yes a peaceful mode is planned, I've confirmed this with SlavicMagic (the developer).

When u say "peaceful mode", does that mean no enemies/combat at all?

Enviromental/structure management/politics is warfare itself.

This game would be totally fine without any combat, at all.

No idea where you got politics from, unless you mean diplomacy.

Nah, they had daily baby sacrificing rituals in 14th century Czechia. This was to please their lizard overlord this continued until Facebook was created, at which point all sacrifices were given to Mark Zuckerberg to help him gain strength for his eventual world takeover.

The only thing that makes this city builder different from a hundred others is a combat element. Without it , I would not even be interested. I played the demo. There isn't anything special about that part of the game.

Four point plot placement is pretty cool though, I doubt its a new new invention but its not at all common in the genre.

The selling point of this game is that is a City builder with RTS war features. My guy, if you want just a city builder just there are tons of options out there.

i dont care that much about the rts part actually and played the demo too. Enjoyed it without any combat. A good city builder doesnt need to reinvent the wheel to be successful.
