Manor Lords
Any romance plan?
This game looks comfy, but adding romance could be a big bonus. Since the game has no release date, i hope you will think about this idea.

alright then, how are cities and or towns supposed to expand without marriage or children?, those that disagree don't seem to think about that, i think it would make a nice mechanic, like some sims go to a church, get married and have kids, those kids grow up and move out, making you need to add more housing as the cycle goes on, sometimes whole families will die out due to disease or war, with all this i think it would add something unique and more challenging to the game

we are talking about the lord , not peasants. Also, death cycle is planned. Not sure about marriage system for peasants tho.

Foundation doesn't and it works fine with an immigration system... /shrug

I imagine Slavic is looking at doing the same for Manor Lords...

Lads, lay off the man. He’s not the only one who wouldn’t mind seeing a dynasty mechanic in this game about being a landed lord. It’s a reasonable request, given how prevalent marriage was in the life of a lord. Imagine a dynamic scenario with lords that change with the passing years, wherein you can secure alliances with rival lords through marriage. It’s not so farfetched in a game of this sort.

This doesn't make a ton of sense for a city builder because the time scale is very different. Unless you are going multiple generations deep it doesn't make much sense to have a dynasty system. And it is quite unlikely the game will do that because of the time scale of a typical city builder.
