SAVE GAME
I think you should add save game at the demo because for example i tried yesterday the demo and i played like 2 hours but i didn't build all the buildings and everything and i couldn't test everything in the game. I want to see how everything works but i don't have time to play like 3,4,5 hours. Anyway, the game is absolutely wonderful, the graphics are amazing and it's absolutely wonderful this kind of gridless and organic city builder. I can't wait for the release of the normal game. One of the problems i noticed was that sometimes the people didn't do the tasks like building, getting berries and hunting, it took like 3 to 6 months to get some food or build a simple house. But per total is absolutely wonderful what you did and i can't wait to buy this game when it will be released. One of my suggestions would be to add birth and migrating to the game because it would be more real when people come from another regions or they make children or when they leave because the village has bad conditions for living. For example, in banished or ostriv this works really good and looks so real.

Yes please for the save game option!

You do not need to save the game. You aren't meant to play it very long. It's a quick play demo for giving feedback. Stop whining.

These are always the most stupid comments. Stop trying to take the fun away from others. Stop imposing your frustration on others. The demo doesn't suck, it's exciting in itself, so you want to save your score to enjoy your village longer. No idea why you have to get so upset when someone wants a save function in the demo. That speaks only for the game.

Per discord

Why no save function?
A save function takes a lot of time. And basically with every build you restart from scratch. Slavic made the choice to spend time debugging the game and adding features. That's why there is no save.

I completely understand why there is no save, and I would be okay with it if it didn't always crash before a couple of years, so that I can't even get a taste of really building up anything. The crash goes straight to desktop without any option to send feedback, dumps, or bug report.

From my perspective, a saving system is a benefit as it allows you to test various part of the game without redoing the same beginning each time. Other type of limits can be feasible like maximum time, etc.

But if the dev don't want to do it for some reasons (as indicated in discord), fine. It's their game to developp.

It takes literally 3-4 hours tops to experience everything there is in the game to experience. 0 reason to save.

He also would need to take away time from developing to update the saving system with every update he does. He doesn't want to do that.

From your point of view, which is not the point of view of everybody.

You're an absolute moron. You are not supposed to spend hours upon hours playing the demo and having a sprawling village. When people like you say just such idiotic things, you should be told what you said is stupid.

Please take your sub 70 IQ elsewhere.

The demand is there and it's not uncommon to be able to save in a demo. You are just completely limited in your thinking. But you're right, don't give anyone the opportunity to play a demo for longer. That would be quite bad, then no one would buy the game. A damn shame you are for the community.

The full game is going to have far more content and also people will want to support the dev so we get more. I would think people will buy the full game, save ability or not.

wait...what? u think that people would buy this game, even if there is no save function?

I don't get why people r frustrated...oh no, a free demo, I could play for 12h, if I had the time...
And well, that's more as to be expected from other studios.
Studios that won't give u a demo, because u would notice that their AAA, billion dollar company just released a bug. Like, that's the game...
I would have loved to be able to save...but I would love to be able to buy this game, too.

No one could expect, a 12h gaming experience, for a DEMO!
yet, it would have been possible, if u had the time, n'stuff...
In other words...Slavic Magic..? Take my frickin' money!!

Honestly, I can understand both opinions, what I can't understand is how rude some respond just because they don't agree with the other opinion.
Yes the Demo only shows a very limited content of what we will get (based on the informations we can get, about Manor Lords)
And yes the Demo might just take 3-4 hours to build everything, But Then again. you might get interrupted or you like to continue later, to rebuild something. And then a saving option would be fine.
HoweverI would disagree that having no saving option would lead to not buy the game.
If you decide that it is a deal breaker for you ok, But I really don't see the point.
We even get told before starting a village that there is no safe option!
BigWezz Oct 7, 2022 @ 5:27pm
There's no point in saving since you can't play it after the 10th ... :piglaugh:

Where did you see i am whining? leave this childish frustration and don't bring it here. if they want people to help them with bugs and other things they can add save game because not everyone has more than 2 -3 hours to play and finish everything it's in the demo. To find bugs and errors people need to play the demo properly not just put all the buildings random and finish.
