Workers not working...
No Lollygagging!

Running into an issue where my workers will just be hanging out and refuse to work. They are assigned to a building, assigned a work area with plenty of work for them to do, they just stopped doing it at some point and will not go back to it.

They just endlessly cycle between "waiting" "procrastinating" and "going inside"

use the 'boop' debug option in settings to force them to move again. I had some who appeared to be stuck on a fence outside a burgage plot they had finished building. I think it's a pathfinding issue.

Just had the same issue. Have u recently built a Bailey? They built half of it, then stopped. Which for some reason bugged the game where none of my idle workers would construct anything, stopped cutting logs etc. I've just removed the Bailey and all of a sudden, everything's working again now.

yeah...I guess just early access things :p after a certain point just about everyone just bugs out and stops doing tasks. I have warehouse workers that don't move anything around, farms that dont get harvested, logging camps where workers never chop trees. Hopefully he can iron all these things out and get this game up and running.

I have 6 loggers between 2 camps and havn't gained a log in 3 years...just been fast forwarding to see what can happen. Game looks amazing, just hope he can get it working soon!

Hi, if you pulled traders off there ongoing tasks it might be the issue. They still are strolling all across the map to get your ale :)

nope...no traders wandering. Just watching all my workers stop and walk over to a construction project and just stand around. Nothing happens, meanwhile their tasks are not getting done. Food seems to be staying steady but everything else just seems to have totally stopped. I tried nudging some of them that seem to be stuck in this loop, I've unassigned, re-assigned, and even moved buildings around but nothing seems to fix them. Just stuck building the manor house forever I guess lol

This appears to be a major bug. I have workers assigned but if I add more, relocate building, or have too many structures even If I have enough workers I can't assign anyone else or they stop producing. It's more centered around lumber production. I'm still messing with it though but I know I have enough workers and they are doing stuff nor are they "stuck".

If no one builds, you can increase the priority so they start again to build but its only a workaround for that problem.

In 2024, the problem is still a nuisance
In 2025 I have the same problem. So, seems like the bug hasn‘t been solved yet.
