How long is the demo?

I need to know at a estimate time how long the demo would be until all content and stuff are explored.

1 hour? 20 years?

It will make it easier for me to know how many animated outros I need to make, or thumbnails and how many friends I need to hire to makeup stuff for me.

I kinda found my answer in that the demo won't have a save option. Meaning it can't be too long. Or else I just leave my pc on and get on the other one.

That can mean anything from "it's already happened" to "four hours from now" to "it is still 30 hours away" depending on where you live.

I myself think the game will release at around 1 am (Swedish time) Since about that time steam always restart (Every night/day or whatever you wanna call it)

Since the demo will come during steam fest. And steam fest will start 1 am for me'

Probably because there many mechanics that are not implemented into the game yet. They said we are going to be able to build walls, watchtowers and etc in the full game. But not in the demo, meaning it almost impossible making a save before adding a mechanic.

It easy to make saves before adding objects and etc, depending on the engine. But adding a WHOLE mechanic, well that is what we devs call a pre-save breaking addition. Which then we often write with BIG text on the announcement/news thingi that not everyone reads.

Games in pre-alpha has often this problem, where the devs often tries to minimize updating the game with new mechanics until a new VERSION comes so that they can add multiple mechanics or pre-save breaking stuff at once.

Anyway more you know that you probably never will need to know!

The demo is a quick and easy try, and free. But this is your own decision if you feel you'd rather wait. And that's fine. But trying out the demo simply gives us extra info on things that needs to be fixed, or any issues.
