Video segments bugged.

Hey everyone,

I seem to be experiencing a bug where any segment that uses video just does not work. Initially the intro doesn't play (only got past it by hitting the skip button in the bottom right), the first video in chapter 1 doesn't play and the background-video/scene doesn't load in chapter 2. At this point I've quit because I honestly feel these flourishes are part of what make this digital book format great.

Does anybody know how to fix this? Worst case I'll just watch a "playthrough"(readthrough?) online, but would prefer being able to just use my own copy.

For any info here are my specs in case it is a known issue that has to do with spec specifics (couldn't find it whilst googling):
intel i7-8700k
Nvidia 1080ti
16gb ram.

Maybe it's recent nvidia drivers that have screwed it or something, but it seems to be just the video segments. If anyone can help much appreciated. Otherwise I'll leave this here just as a 'bug report' cause I got no clue where to report this otherwise.

Well glad to know it's not a recent thing. Too bad, guess I'm gonna end up watching a video. Thanks for the reply!
