Anyone else unable to purchase the DLC bundle if they own the game?

Clicking "purchase for myself" just kicks me back to the homepage, dunno if that's because I am trying to purchase the bundle when I already own the game but Steam seems to have never had an issue with people doing that in the past. Anyone else unable to buy the DLC bundle if they already own the game?

Not all bundles are dynamic. Many are all or nothing. Some will remove the owned items and still apply the bundle discount.

this bundle was initially one where you could complete your collection but it appears they’ve now changed it so you can only buy it if you don’t own the base game already 😑

Sorry for the issue but that's "normal".

When you already have the game you should see this message:

"You already own some of the items in this bundle. This offer is only available when buying all items at the same time."

Sorry again if there was any confusion

For that part, if you have a screenshot I'm interested. It's not a dynamic bundle so you shouldn't have a price change.

I already got DLC separately, so I can't capture a screenshot anymore. It was indeed a dynamic bundle, this is why this discussion was started at the first place.

Oh well, 10% is not a big deal, just a little confusion and disappointment because a dynamic bundle was "fixed".

A friend of mine was able to use the "Complete Your Collection" feature of the bundle earlier today. Why do I only see "Purchase as gift"?

I am from the China region and can purchase through a bundle. The price for purchasing with DLC is 28.8 yuan, while the price for purchasing with a bundle is 25.92 yuan. If other regions cannot supplement DLC through the bundle, there must be a malfunction.

If you already have the base game, but by some miracle managed to buy the DLC through this bundle, then the discount on the DLC should be more than 10%, as buying through the bundle gives an additional discount, which should give a total price reduction of 19%. (At least that's how it was for us until this option was removed). However, in your case the price reduction is only 10%, which sounds odd...

On September 1 at 13:00 UTC (one day after the bundle was added), the developers changed its type from "Purchase as set" to "Must Purchase Together", which does not allow you to purchase the add-on as part of this bundle separately and without the base game and save a total of 19%. You can purchase this set as a gift for someone or for yourself, but only if you don't have the base game.
But here's the weird thing. In SteamDB's change history, this bundle has been changed to the purchase type "Purchase as set", when in fact it is "Must be purchased together" (look at the "Type" column).

Yes, the 19% discount from the original DLC price of $8 doesn't reduce the price much, but it will be useful for those people who don't have the opportunity to directly replenish their wallet and replenish it by selling collectible cards, cases, skins, etc. For them, every penny counts. Perhaps someone right now lacks these additional 9 percent...

TMNT: Shredder's Revenge + DLC + OST Bundle is $20USD now. Just what in the world is wrong now with this Bundle? How can a soundtrack cost as much as a game? Please fix the bundle and remove the gift option when trying to complete the purchase. This bundle and the prices are a complete mess ever since DLC was released. Please fix the issue with pricing.
