Piecing together clues to find the traitor
It's clear listening to chatter aboard the Mourningstar and on Atoma itself that the traitor Rannick identifies in the cutscene you unlock once reaching level 30 isn't the only traitor on board.
This is evident from the fact that the chaos cultists continue to be privy to even top level off-the-books missions like the twin hunt.
There also appears to be a decent amount of sabotage aboard the Mourningstar, whether it be the reactor outputting less power than usual which Kayex is unable to make sense of, supplies going "missing" from strike teams or supply shipments being intercepted in space.
It does seem like Grendyl is aware of this, as one of the missions he tasks the rejects with is using a comms-plex on Atoma to send an encrypted message - the details of which, of course, we are not privy to.
So who is the traitor?
My hunch tells me it is Zola. She comes from Atoma and seems to have some sort of history with Wolfer, to the point where she is obsessed with finding out something about him. She's also the one responsible for recruiting us, which would help explain how a pox burster snuck onto an Imperial ship.
The Psyker will sometimes comment something along the lines of her not truly knowing her own mind, which makes me think of Krall's personality transplant surgery being somehow involved. Krall also has a hidden sanctum behind his clinic, very suss.
Her saying "I told you so" in the Cathedrum mission to Rannick seems like an attempt to put her above suspicion, but I don't buy it.
I'm definitely missing some information here, I don't think I've heard all the ambient chatter in the game, but if I'm missing something important or glaringly obvious please let me know.

This would be a hilarious way to explain the high proportion of women and resolve the DEI issues. It’s now my head cannon thanks!

It was a chaos plot to weaken the Imperium with an excess of body type 2s all along... how could we not see the brilliance of their dark plan?

Only if you respond to the trolling, never feed the troll or else they have reason to respond and perpetuate the unserious idea to ridiculous heights.

The Ad Hominem attacks are just as much a troll so here we might go again….

She grew up alongside Wolfner, and the charm you can unlock from the penance track (I think its called small prayer capsule, or something to that effect) is a gift from Zola to Wolfner. Zola obviously feels betrayed personally as she either was his friend or lover and as per the lore journal entries they come out with every once and a while was pissed enough to do a stupid mission in hopes of lashing out against the heretics.
My guess is that unless Zola's story is relegated to her own little tab alongside the Karnak Twins mission her story will be put to the side in favor of this new cultists angle.

Body types 2 are the worst. I always knew it.

Zola's not a traitor, she would have bled out and died on the prison ship if it weren't for us removing that big ol' pig sticker that had her pinned from her shoulder and escorted her to the evac point. If the intention was for her to get on board the Mourningstar and start causing a ruckus, that's one heck of a lousy way to be planted.

It's all part of the plan, Nurgle is taking some notes from Tzeentch on this one.

Thats too obvious why would the enemy escort you to the evac point and not have suspicion... especially fully intact without battle damage... they also stared us down at the beginning and walked past the reject... maybe as the intended ESCORT maybe were traitors too!

Also on replay, its only a shoulder wound that happens while were going up in the elevator she could have seen us coming (cameras) and stabbed herself. Then after the planted sparing us in 1st scene knew we would.... save her.... plus shes totally running around fighting just like us after would not have bled out.

-Zola takes extra time to inspect prisoners immediately prior to raid
-says to keep heretic intact for masters "interrogation"

My suspicions have always been on Masozi. The same pilot on the same missions and despite the anti-aircraft batteries is never hit. Also, she is not fazed at all with a group of crack heads covered head to toe in Nurgle goo coming aboard her Valkyrie at the end of a mission.

To make this worse, in the lore itself it says she prefers to do maintenance of her aircraft herself... yet is, yet again, unfazed by the corruption we bring onboard. Furthermore, as an individual who is a known smuggler, is it beyond consideration that the forces of Chaos found a friend in her to smuggle artifacts aboard the Mourningstar to corrupt its divine servants? I think it's entirely possible, nay, probable.

Is it that hard to rationalize that able bodied men get sent to their deaths all the time while the women take more managerial roles? Doesn't seem that far fetched.

From my understanding of 40K men and women are equally sent into the meat grinder as life has little value.

The only restriction may be for hives set for re population for continual warfare, but if there is a set civilian population set aside to be selected for warfare it most likely would favor men as modern warfare does for obvious biological reasons...

I'd ask 1 real world example anywhere in history of just a 50:50 male:female split in managers over active fighters. That would be a fascinating example at the very least of what we have in Darktide.

An interesting point of view, but Masozi says that "Clanky" (Kayex) refuses to fix her aircraft for her, so it makes sense she has to do it herself.
